Cashing

Help

Questions, answered plainly.

Can’t find what you need? Email support@analytica.ph. A real person replies, usually within two working days.
Do the people I split with need the app?
No. Add them by name and include them in any group or split. If they join Cashing later, you can link their record to their account. They have to approve first, and their history comes with them.
Can the people I split with see my wallets?
No. They see the shared expense, who paid and each person’s share. Which of your wallets the money came from stays private to you. Household joint wallets are the exception: every member of that household can see them.
What’s the difference between “Give money”, “Pay back” and “Gift”?
“Give money” is money for shared costs, like handing your partner the bill money; it counts toward what they owe back. “Pay back” settles what you owe. A gift doesn’t count toward anyone’s balance. In a household you can also put money into, or take it out of, the joint funds.
How do I split a restaurant bill by what each person ordered?
Choose “Split with others”, then “Receipt”. Add each item and who had it. Shared plates go to everyone who had some, and the service charge, tax, tip or discount are spread by what each person ordered.
When do bill and debt reminders arrive?
At 9 AM, the day before and on the due date, Manila time. They’re scheduled on your phone, so they arrive even when you’re offline. Allow notifications for Cashing when Android asks.
Does Cashing connect to my bank or e-wallet?
No. Cashing only knows what you record. That keeps your bank sign-ins out of it entirely.
Does it work offline?
Recording and viewing entries need an internet connection, so everyone in a group sees the same numbers. Reminders work offline.
I forgot my app lock PIN.
Tap “Forgot your PIN?” on the lock screen. You’ll be signed out; sign in with your password and set a new PIN in Me › Security. Too many wrong PINs sign you out the same way. Your records are safe on the server.
I forgot my password.
Email us from the address you signed up with at support@analytica.ph and we’ll help you back in.
Is it free?
Yes, while Cashing is in early access. Afterwards new accounts start with a free month, then a subscription. If you don’t subscribe, everything you recorded stays there to view.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. Cashing is on Android first; an iPhone version is planned.
Which currencies does it support?
Philippine pesos only, to the centavo.
How do I delete my account?
In the app go to Me › Delete account. The details are on Delete your account.
