These terms apply when you use the Cashing app and this website, run by Analytica. By creating an account you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
What Cashing is, and isn’t
Cashing is a record-keeping tool. It helps you write down money that moves between you and other people and works out who owes whom. It doesn’t hold, send or receive money, isn’t a bank or e-wallet, and doesn’t give financial, tax or legal advice. Balances in Cashing are only as accurate as what you and the people you share with record.
Your account
- You need to be at least 18 years old.
- Give your real name and an email address you can use, and keep your password to yourself.
- You’re responsible for what is recorded from your account.
Recording things about other people
When you add someone who doesn’t use Cashing, you’re recording information about them. Only add what you need (a name is enough) and only record money that really changed hands. Don’t use Cashing to harass, shame or pressure anyone.
Shared records
Entries in a group or split are shared with the people in them. If you delete your account, entries you shared stay for the others under “Deleted user”, so their balances still add up.
Fair use
Don’t try to break, overload or get around the security of Cashing, access other people’s data, or use it for anything illegal. We may suspend accounts that do, and we’ll tell you why when we can.
Price
Cashing is free while it’s in early access. When early access ends, new accounts will get a free month and then need a subscription to keep adding entries; what you already recorded stays viewable. We’ll announce prices and give notice in the app before charging anything.
Availability
We work to keep Cashing running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Keep your own records of anything important. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses that come from relying on balances in the app.
Ending
You can stop using Cashing and delete your account at any time. If we ever shut Cashing down, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice so you can note down what you need.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change, and important changes will be shown in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines.
